The Forgotten Community

There is a part of our community that is often overlooked. These are the sweet souls who now live in care facilities and depend on others for their daily needs. Many go days, weeks, or even months without a visit from loved ones.

Have you ever witnessed pure joy? The kind that lights up someone’s eyes with a memory so sweet it warms everyone around them? As Mrs. Claus, I see joy often in the faces of children who speak with Santa. Their wonder is magical. But the joy I have seen in the eyes of those who are lonely, when laughter or a kind gesture reaches them, is something even more powerful. It is joy that cannot be forgotten.

At Southern Santa’s Workshop, we want to share that joy with these precious members of our community. On December 18, Santa will visit Pelham Parkway, Camilla Living, and Savannah Court with gift bags for every resident. These bags will hold simple necessities, but more importantly, Santa will bring carols, smiles, and love to brighten their day.

We also hope to provide large print Bibles and a gift basket for the caregivers who serve so faithfully. To make this possible, we must raise $5,500. Every gift, no matter the size, will go directly toward blessing these residents and caregivers.

Christmas is a season of love, hope, and giving. It is a time to remember that Christ came as the greatest gift of all. This year, you can help us share His love with those who may feel forgotten. Join Us on December 18th

Share the Presence of Joy

From now through December 16, we are gathering donations of every kind. On the evening of December 17, the team at Wonderfully Made Coffee will come together to assemble the gift bags. The next day, December 18, we will deliver them with Santa by our side.

We will arrive dressed in holiday cheer, singing carols, and sharing gifts with the residents of Pelham Parkway, Camilla Living, and Savannah Court. Our prayer is to place more than 200 gift bags into the hands of residents that day.

We warmly invite you to join us and experience the Presence of Joy firsthand.

Donation of Needed Items

Every item donated reminds our residents that they are seen, remembered, and deeply loved. Physical donations may be placed in our giant gift bag at 85 Broad in Camilla, at the Tucker Baptist Association Office, or at participating Tucker Baptist Association churches across the area.

Nov. 17th at 85 Broad in Camilla, Santa takes his first look at the "Nice List". Come see if your name is there and get a picture with Santa! Tickets are $20

Dec. 4th Santa Visits wonderfully Made Coffee in Albany. Come share your wish list and get a sweet keepsake photo. Tickets are $20

Dec. 17th Wonderfully Made Coffee hosts you and Mrs. Claus for cookies and Cocoa. Come make a Christmas Craft and hear a story! Tickets for this event are $25.
